Random thoughts: viewership

I know that this WordPress blog is but a tiny tiny speck in a vast ocean of information but it seems as though the only people whom are following me via the “follow” button are doing so because they want me to follow them & provide support for their projects, business and/or lifestyle.

Has this what it’s all come to, children?

Needless to say: I won’t be following such blogs but if you do have something that is genuinely interesting & relevant to my topics of interest, I will follow & support you. Until then, best not to be a bother.

This sort of thing happens on the bigger Youtube as well. When I had a channel I would get random people asking me to sub to them and that they would return the favour. Does the followers count really matter? Ten good subscribers beats one hundred people who don’t care what you write.

I have the same thing on my youtube channel, very annoying.
Well, first you have to have at least one good subscriber, otherwise your writing isn’t really getting out there. At last the tumblr crossposting gets viewers & it fine if they don’t want to comment. Everything’s a slow build at the start, I don’t really expect huge a readership.
